Ski-ing and Snowboarding Les Arcs, France

Les Arcs, but a 7 minute funicular ride from Bourg-Saint-Maurice, is part of the vast Paradiski area which also includes La Plagne. With terrain suitable for all standards of skier and boarder this is a brilliant place to come for mixed ability groups. Les Arcs is made up of the villages of Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950, Arc 2000 as well as Vallandry, Peisey Nancroix and Plan Peisey.

Paradiski boasts 425km's of riding with plentiful off-piste opportunities. From Arc 2000 a gondola and cable car take you to the highest point, the Aiguille Rouge from where many classic long runs can begin.

In addition to Paradiski, Bourg-Saint-Maurice is ideally placed close to Sainte Foy, Tignes, Val d'Isere and a short drive opens up all of the possibilities in the neighbouring Three Valleys and surroundings (Courchevel, Meribel, La Tania, Les Menuires, Val Thorens).

In the summer, from mid-June to early September, the Glacier at Tignes is only a 40 minute drive from here and provides a summer fix for ardent riders.
